Review by hotel critic
Nestled on Alexandra Road, just a short stroll from Penzance's lovely seafront, Dunedin Guest House was the perfect retreat for a cozy Christmas escape. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the friendly hosts, Duncan and Shaline, who truly made us feel at home, seamlessly blending charm with modern comforts. Our twin room was not only immaculate but also wonderfully comfortable, a dream for nature lovers like us who spent the days exploring the rugged Cornish coastline. Returning to our room, we appreciated the meticulous housekeeping, which ensured it felt as good as new after a long day. And let’s not forget breakfast; it was a delight to enjoy a hearty meal before setting out on our adventures. If you’re like me and crave a blend of beautiful landscapes and a touch of luxury, Dunedin is an ideal base to explore the enchanting West Cornwall. Just lovely.
